felt something I hadn’t felt in weeks.
Not happy, not okay, but held. Someone else knew the weight of what I was carrying, and that made it possible to carry it a little longer. I went to bed that night and slept without waking until morning. It was a Friday evening about 2 weeks later when they came again.
