Not in armor.

I wore a white suit and my wedding ring.

The ballroom looked different in daylight. Less magical. Less threatening. Just walls, lights, carpet, chairs.

When I stepped onto the stage, I saw young entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, executives, students, and a few people who had been present the night everything changed.
