My Neighbors Treated My Fence Like It Was Theirs Until I Finally Put a Stop to It

Someone had gripped each one, reached across the fence line, pressed the jaws open, and attached them firmly to wood that belonged to me. This was not a casual act. You cannot do this accidentally or absentmindedly. You have to deliberately extend your reach across a boundary and attach your things to someone else’s property.
