“I work in the building.”

“At the hotel.”

He nodded.

“I didn’t realize the staff stayed for the dancing.”

A small private smile touched only the corner of his mouth.

“We do not, as a rule. I was finishing a walk-through on a Saturday night.”

Then he added, “My properties get a Saturday night look-over once a quarter.”
